KMPO Policy BoardChair Vice Chair Board Members Rick Currie, Kootenai County Jimmie Dorsey, East Side Highway District Anson Gable, City of Hayden Al Hassell, City of Coeur d'Alene Mayor Vic Holmes, City of Rathdrum Marv Lekstrum, Lakes Highway District James Mangan, Worley Highway District Coeur d'Alene Tribe The KMPO Policy Board meets every first Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Idaho Transportation Department District 1 Headquarters, 600 W. Prairie, Coeur d'Alene. The public is welcome to attend. K.C.A.T.T (Kootenai County Area Transportation Team)KCATT assists KMPO staff in the development of an annual work program. The annual work program will identify planning projects and achievements expected for the coming fiscal year, and will be submitted to the KMPO Policy Board for approval each June. Committee members recommend projects and priorities for inclusion in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the long-range plan. They report on the status of projects approved for the funding in the TIP to KMPO staff monthly, and make recommendations for delays and advances to funding as necessary. The KCATT Committee also assists KMPO Board Staff with maintenance and periodic updates and calibration of the regional travel demand model (VISUM). KCATT meets monthly, on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 8:00 a.m. at the Idaho Transportation Department District 1 Headquarters, 600 W. Prairie, Coeur d'Alene, to review activities being undertaken by KMPO and to coordinate projects between jurisdictions.
